The U fly is our new LTF 1-2 / EN B certified glider. The U fly combines high performance with outstanding high passive safety in the class of 1-2 / B gliders. The certification center Air Touquoise confirmed this during the passed certification tests, 86 checkpoints were successfully completed, 83 of those the U fly passed with a LTF 1 / EN A, the rest of 3 checkpoints the U fly passed with a 1-2 / B.

Our U fly is for 96,5% a pure LTF 1/ EN-A glider with a high performance potential.

Some major changes to the U4 2009 were made. 8% less lines (that´s a lot reduction !), improved linegeometry, optimized trim and new risers. This makes the U4 2010 to the highest performance glider available today.

- better handling in turns
- more stable and faster in accelerated flight
- several flights in comparison to the U4 2009 showed a clear difference in glide and speed

In 7,5 hours Beat Ritzmann flies 271 km. He started with his serial U Sport at Quixadá on 800m und landed at 18:40 in Tianguá.
His GPS shows a Tracklog length of 340 km ! At the end it is 271 km XC length.
Gratulations to Beat, at this moment we only can dream of flights like these in Europe. We wish you more long flights. Go on !
